Purified water, local raw honey, certified organic European elder (berries) (Sambucus nigra), certified organic ginger root, certified organic cinnamon sticks, and certified organic whole cloves.
What does your elderberry syrup taste like?
We use an abundance of honey and elderberries in our recipe. Your taste buds will enjoy the flavor profiles of the honey, elderberries, cinnamon, ginger and whole cloves reminding many of our customers of the taste of “apple butter”. The spices are not only added to enhance the taste of elderberry syrup, but they too have their own health benefits that contribute to the syrup.
Do you take elderberry syrup daily or just when you’re symptomatic?
It’s completely up to you on how you choose to use elderberry syrup. You may choose to take it as an immune system booster, seasonally, or for additional support. Because elderberry syrup has been known to have so many great health benefits the possibilities are endless. Our family chooses to take a little bit daily during flu and allergy season and up our consumption when symptoms arise.
